Hi Everyone!

My name is Jin and I am your classmate in the TOEFL class. I would like to enter a college in Vancouver. That was my reason for attending this class. I really enjoy studying lately, even though the TOEFL is a really hard task for me. But I believe that if I work hard, I could improve my English skills a lot and I could get great scores.

I’m from Seoul, Korea. Seoul is the capital of Korea, so everything is so fast-paced and crowded there. Also, there are lots of fun places and people. There are lots of high-rises, good restaurants, shopping malls and clubs so that if you visit Korea, you can have a lot of fun. I have a few close friends. We used to go clubbing, shopping and have dinner together so I miss my life in Korean and my friends. But now, I know that if I want to achieve goals for my future, sometimes I need to sacrifice. Also I really like my life in Vancouver too because I’ve never studied so hard before.

I have some hobbies. I really like reading novels. When I have free time, I love to read on my bed while I eat ice cream. It makes me so happy. Also, I like chatting with my close friends on the phone, about things like, our boyfriends, school and celebrities. In addition, I really like watching movies at the theater. I especially prefer watching romantic comedies and science-fiction movies. However, I hate scary movies. After watching them, I always have nightmares. I think I’m really a chicken. Anyway, I hope all of my classmates will get good scores on the TOEFL!
